I’m Not Glazed and Confused: These Are Good Mini Donuts

Glazed and ConfusedOver the past month, I’ve gone to (and gotten business cards) from two outdoor events: the NJ Taco Festival and the Edison Fall Family Spectacular. It rained during the 1st event, so I didn’t get that many business cards.

However, the 2nd event was chock full of them. One place really jumped out at me: Glazed and Confused. They sell mini donuts and I thought my wife would want to try it since she likes desserts. I decided to send her a pic of the menu to see what kind she wanted.

Glazed & Confused Mini Donuts MenuGlazed & Confused offers a good variety of mini donut creations. My choices would have been Cookies & Cream and perhaps The Hangover. My wife wanted to try the Salted Caramel Pretzel and the doNUTELLA, so that’s what I brought home.

I’m going to start off by saying that I am not a donut person. They give me stomach troubles.

However, these mini donuts were different. They were made on a conveyor belt of oil where the donuts went down on one side and got flipped over. It looked like a thrilling ride for the 8 mini donuts (per creation) before getting nom’d to death.

Eating both of these creations warm was a surprisingly good experience. There wasn’t too much added flavoring used, so the tastes of Nutella and caramel pretzel was not overwhelming.

They have no physical address listed on their card, so I assume Glazed & Confused goes from event to event making their little creations. I guess you have to follow them on social media to see where they’ll be next.
