Two Out of Three Isn’t Bad

Dom's SubsI just started a new job in Tinton Falls NJ and decided to grab a bite out to eat for lunch.

Translation: I did not have lunch and needed to be fed.

Luckily, one of my new coworkers was going out also and since I’m flexible about food options, we went to Dom’s Subs. As you can see from the card, it’s a deli-type place with a little more variety.

On this day, I chose to have the Super Italian sub with all of the fun smoked meats that you would find (salami, pepperoni, prosciutto, capicola) along with provolone cheese and ham. It was one of the better Italian subs that I’ve had, so it definitely fit the bill.

It was also cold outside on this day, so I decided to have soup. Bad move.

I had New England clam chowder (which was so cold that I had to heat it up in the microwave) that might as well have been just chowder since I think I could count the clam pieces on one hand. And the large was served to me in a beverage container.

Advice: avoid the soup, but do get a sandwich.

There was also a bulletin board full of business cards that I only got halfway through before we had to leave and go back to the office. I will definitely be back at some point to snag the rest of the business cards and enjoy a quality sandwich.
